Prison Bus

The room was not setup when our game was meant to start as the previous team was late to finish. This took away from the experience as we were prompted to change our room choice rather than waiting. The GM set this room to hard as requested. The hint system was quite clunky as you could only use three hints but we were informed at the start that the initial hints wouldn’t help much with moving forward until later in the room. There were quite a few warning signs which could impacted the game heavily if not followed.

I enjoyed the production value and props in this room however a lot of the puzzles didn’t flow well. I found the clue system frustrating where we were only allowed 3 clues but the GM could assist as much as we needed. The QR codes did not assist as they were relevant to another room later on in the game. The GM had to come in half way through to fix a puzzle that wasn’t functioning. I found the story line to be lacking in the room. The room has potential and I enjoyed the production value, hence giving it a thumbs up, however it could significantly be improved with the story line and updated clue system.

Honestly, I wanted to walk out half way through doing this room. The puzzles didn’t flow or make sense. You are only allowed 3 hints but the hints in the first room related to places in other rooms so ended up being no help. Won’t be going back to do any of their other rooms

Frankly the worst room we have done. Didn’t make sense, some items didn’t work and the gm came in to help us with one puzzle and couldn’t work it out either.
