Trapped Below

I did this room with my family right after having done one of their other experiences earlier that day. The first room we did was ‘okay’ (Hallows Eve), so I was a bit hesitant going into this room, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The puzzles made sense and the game flowed pretty linear, and the atmosphere and setting was very well done. Right off the bat I felt immersed because of some of the tech they had in the room. We had one tech issue where a light wasn’t turning on which wasted about 5 minutes of our time, but we still escaped and overall had a good experience. I ranked it #21 out of the 50 escape rooms I’ve done. This room had a couple of fresh unique moments that I look for when trying new escape experiences. I’d say it’s like a 7/10 experience IMO and is a safe bet to book if you’re looking for a fun room. We got out with 14 1/2 minutes remaining.

Ok, so this room is very cool. however when we go in the room I immediately opened a box that was left open by the person that reset it. But once again the room was very cool. But it was poorly reset.

We absolutely loved the room and have booked their other experiences for later this week! Awesome room, good combination of mechanical/tech and physical locks. Highly recommend!

The decoration and immersion of the room was amazing! The intro by the GM included showing pictures of the room and describing what happens in the first room so it was a little bit of a let down. The puzzles tried really hard to make sense and flow with the theming but some of them were out there and required some imagination, others were hard to see. I wanted to like this room more but a lot of the game play was frustrating. Started 25 min late too due to a missing key, but no time deducted and were able to finish.

The puzzles were really linear and fun! The set was really nice. And they kept it pretty cold in there, so it kinda felt like you were really below ground.
