This room was awesome! Plenty of thrills and scares that make you feel on edge. Room had a great flow and the characters you encounter all add to the story. We played with 6 but I think 3-4 would be good as there are a few smaller areas that are a bit tight. Overall a great room and a very memorable experience we’ll be talking about for ages

Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown

The Escape Ventures always set the bar so high and Arctic Storm was no exception! The set is absolutely incredible and we had so many laughs along the way. They were kind enough to let us play with just our group of two but it’s definitely a beast for less experienced players. We were blown away by the puzzles and theming at every turn. I didn’t feel as though the actor was totally necessary to the story but she definitely kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. I’m sad to say we have now completed all of the rooms at TEV and you cannot go wrong with a single one. Definitely in the top of all the places we’ve been. Can’t wait for more!

Loved this room. Lots of fun and didn’t disappoint at all. Maybe too easy for super experienced teams but that won’t disappoint. Keilee our game master was a sweetheart and set the tone. Can’t wait to get back and do the rest!!

Creative and polished! The story was mid but the room was nice and puzzles were fun and quite different. As described of the room, you WILL be sitting in pitch black and navigating through darkness for a big portion, but the puzzles are designed uniquely for that scenario and I think they did it well. I would definitely recommend it for a seasoned group looking for a unique experience. Note, the room is a bit small and would be fine for 2-3. The only thing is I wish it were longer, but I understand that our group beat it unusually quickly so the standard experience should be fine.

One of my favorite escape rooms I've ever done. It flowed perfectly, all the puzzles made sense, there were a lot of different changes of scenery, and it was super immersive. There's literally nothing bad I can say about this room.

Such a cute and whimsical room. It ended up taking the two of us only 35 minutes but honestly it didn’t seem like we sped through it and we had so much fun. Definitely a great introductory room and truly feels like you’re in the middle of a Christmas story!

A very good experience from the team at Great Escape Room. Flow if the game went well with some puzzles that had some challenge but after taking attention to detail were solved quickly. Compared to its counterpart in St. Pete this is definitely the preferred location between to the two. Great room for people who want a small challenge but with decent enough flow :)

Baldwin Manor had a lot of puzzles and they flowed well. I enjoyed the theming of the rooms and the overall aesthetic. The story line worked well and we beat the overall best time for 2 players which was awesome. Definitely a good room!

The football stadium (nicknamed the Bounce House) is home to the UCF Knights, who became NCAA National Champions in 2017. Orlando and surrounding areas are home to multiple major theme parks, each with unique attractions that make them worth a vacation on their own. You can be enchanted at Walt Disney World Resort, turn into a wizard at Universal Orlando Resort, meet marine life at SeaWorld Orlando, swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove, and build your imagination at Legoland Florida. It’s no wonder the escape rooms in Orlando are just as bombastic as its other attractions. Over a hundred escape rooms span the Orlando area, with countless incredible reviews and challenges ready to stump and surprise the most seasoned escape artist. From military missions to fantastical science fiction fantasies, Orlando has plenty of puzzles ready to be solved by curious minds.

Learn More about Orlando Escape Rooms

The Great Escape Room was the first live escape experience opened in Orlando. However, it was far from the last. The Great Escape Room became a chain of escape rooms, and in the years since their initial opening in 2014, over a hundred live escape experiences have opened in the area. In the heart of America’s theme park capital, it’s only natural that the escape rooms in the area excel at incorporating unique themes. Many escape rooms have pivoted from the traditional “unlock the door” format to more collaborative takes on puzzle-solving.

How Do Escape Rooms Work?

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
